What do you want?
When we speak with people everyone is very clear and more than willing to share with us what they don’t want.
I don’t want to go back to work in the office five days a week?
I don’t want to commute an hour and a half to work each way any more.
Either way, three days, five days, no more suit and tie – that’s over.
…and the list goes on…
Feel free to go to the comments and add yours to the list.
What the large majority of people are fuzzy, unclear or have no idea about is what exactly do they want.
How about you?
What do you want?
Jokingly, the responses are often – a million dollars!
One of my mentors, Les Brown, often tells this story of how people will come up to him after his keynote speech and say, “Mr. Brown, I want to be just like you! How do I do that?”
“If you know my story, will you really do what I did, to be who I am?”
There’s the rub!
What people want – they just want – like it’s a drive through – a winning lottery ticket.
The problem is no one wants to do the work or even buy the lottery ticket! They just want the results without so much as lifting a finger!
Look this isn’t about complaining, blaming or finger pointing.
That’s not my style.
I’m a solutions oriented guy.
Let’s say you or someone you know is really serious and driven once they put their mind to doing something. For some reason, when it comes to their next step, in their life, in their career, they really don’t know what they want.
Wouldn’t it be great to hear five steps to become crystal clear on what you want?
I’m hosting a call – live and in person – there’s no charge – there’s no catch. Five steps – live Q and A – let me know.

Do you know I’m interviewing stroke survivors, their spouse or partner as well?
The purpose is to compile these stories in order to share the information with others. The stories will inspire others, help them with tips for handling what they are going through now and what they may face in the future. It may even become a go to resource for stroke survivors and their families.
