You have a desire to do “x”.
This might be to start a business, advance in your career to a higher level, learn a new language, really improve your golf or tennis game, or something else.
There’s a reason you’re not taking any action.
Something is stopping you.
It’s not that you don’t have the desire to do “x”. You think about it more and more these days. Now the action may be a small one.
For example, Michelangelo at the age of 26 accepted the challenge to sculpt a large scale David.
For the next two years he worked constantly on this endeavor. The result is he created one of his most breathtaking masterpieces. It took him two years! Hardly a day went by when he didn’t do at least something toward his goal.
How about you?
What if you at least shared your goal with someone you know?
Have you even written out what it is you desire to do – the “x”?
Now that you’re thinking about it – by when would you want to achieve it? By what date? Is this a reasonable time frame to achieve it for you?
What might be the logical first step?
I’ll stop here to ask you one question.
Were any of these questions difficult to answer?
Together I will be able to help you achieve “x”.
Whatever your “x” is that you know if you put in the time and the effort it’s reasonable to assume you will be able to achieve it.
It’s just that something is stopping you!

Do you know I’m interviewing stroke survivors, their spouse or partner as well?
The purpose is to compile these stories in order to share the information with others. The stories will inspire others, help them with tips for handling what they are going through now and what they may face in the future. It may even become a go to resource for stroke survivors and their families.
