Who are the people you trust?
Why do you trust these people?
Think about it for a few minutes – consider –
Do you handle all of your investments or do you have a broker, CFA, or money manager? Do you trust them? Why?
Odds are your future way of life is at stake.
Do you change your vehicle’s brakes or do you take it in somewhere and at that location someone changes your brakes? Do you even know who the person is that is actually changing your vehicle’s brakes? You trust their work though, right? Why?
Your life and your family and passengers lives are at stake.
Do you trust the individuals who you work for, work with and who work for you? Why?
Your career, your name, reputation, and your livelihood depend on it.
Trust is defined as – firm belief in the reliability, truth, ability, or strength of someone or something.
from online Oxford Languages
In my own fully and totally unscientific study, (which by the way does anyone really trust any of these any more, you know what used to be a real scientific study?), it appears that most people will fully trust their investments as described above and their brake job as described above without too much investigation.
A warm referral or having gone to the same person or location for a number of years is often good enough.
Now in terms of the individuals you may work for, or work with, or who work for you – Ha! – not so fast.
Think about the hoops each of these people have to jump through to get hired. Then to earn your trust? How about co-Founders of an organization? Do they 100% have trust in each other?
Think all of this over and how it applies to you.

The purpose is to compile these stories in order to share the information with others. The stories will inspire others, help them with tips for handling what they are going through now and what they may face in the future. It may even become a go to resource for stroke survivors and their families.
