The first time a ship goes through stormy seas with a new crew on board it’s as if it is everyone’s first storm. What needs to be battened down? Certain doors latches don’t keep the watertight seal. During the night new sounds of creaks and moans from the rolling vessel.
The first clear day after the storm clears an inspection around the ship will invariably find loose gear and with good fortune no major damage or missing gear washed overboard.
Now this crew will be better prepared on this ship for the next stormy sea.

One thing is for certain you are the leader of your career path.
Right now you have the time to prepare yourself and get moving in the direction of your choice. If you wait until the ’all clear’ sounds you very well may be left behind.
So get organized!
Turn off the news – stop looking at your iPhone, iPad and all things social media for a couple of hours each day. Start mapping out what direction you want to take. If you feel there are skills you need go online and find a course.
When is the last time you actually called people and talked?
Create a list of the people you have not connected with for way too long. Each day call a few of them and have a conversation…not by email or text or LinkedIn, a real conversation, use Skype or Zoom if you want.
Yes, I know, the place is crazy now and we are all inside everyday and we are going crazy.
Everyone has the same twenty four hours so make the decision on how to effectively use yours.
Have a time everyday for everyone to talk together, time to each be alone have their space, time for some exercise and time to do work or studying as the case may be. Then if there is some open time everyone select what to do then. Limit the veg out time in front of the TV.
A routine will set in and this will have a calming effect on everyone.
This will allow you to determine your next steps for your career path.
You can do this alone or if you are interested in connecting here is the link again for a free thirty minute consultation.
Be safe, be calm, stay strong,
Mitch
