Do you know your influence factor?
There are those of us who most of the time are influencers. We readily take the lead and influence people and thereby outcomes.
There are many people who are happy to be influenced the majority of the time. Not really questioning, instead just following along with being influenced.
Now you would expect context matters.
It would seem to me the people who are most often influenced would still make their own choices for what clothes to wear and what types of food to eat. What came as a surprise to me in my informal unscientific survey of individuals is – not so fast.
Many of the people who say they are most often influenced by others, accept the food someone else prepares for them with no input from them and even wear clothes and outfits that they didn’t buy or select to wear at different times.
Further, numerous people who are influencers of people and outcomes have no awareness how their influence resulted in certain outcomes. They are totally unaware of how the influence they had on others resulted in the resulting outcomes.
At this point, it would be easy for me to write up a few hundred words on personality and behavior which would then lead to the importance of taking an assessment and most importantly the review of the results with a trained professional.
