The words ‘checking in’ may have you thinking airport and traveling.
I didn’t mean to scare you! Unfortunately the flying experience this season has become stressful.
This check in should not be frightening!
This is something you should look forward to doing at least four times a year, at a minimum.
You’re being gifted a valuable tool that you should utilize to assist you in assessing how you are doing in your business and life. This about your plan for your time and your commitments that you desire to achieve yourself.
The Compass of Life™ covers all areas of your life.
Family/Home – Business/Career – Financial – Educational
Ethical/Spiritual – Mindset/Physical – Health – Cultural/Social
The first time you work with the Compass of Life™ handwrite the date at the top of the page. On the worksheet the first column is where you write in how you spend your time in each area now.
Handwrite the day of the week and the date at the top of this column.
Be honest and note zero if no time is spent in any area.
Do your best to estimate how much time you spend in each area. Try not to over think this, however, don’t rush through it either.
Now for the second column. At the top of this column handwrite –
“By….” (and then a date three months from now)
This is setting your intention for what you are about to commit to.
This column is where you intend to spend your time in the future.
The future defined as starting tomorrow.
The purpose of this process is for you to consider your goals for your life. What are your values? What do you value?
Write it out and show me (talking to yourself).
Save everything you have done here and look it over each week to see if you’re on track. Three months from now take out your completed Compass of Life™ and write out a new one that will reflect your progress and offer opportunities to make any adjustments needed.
Want to add some accountability into the equation?
Ask someone you know and trust to do this check in for themselves and then each of you share with one another what they have.
Agree to meet and discuss where each of you are regularly.
Want even more?
Go to this link to be added to a list for an upcoming group call.
I will take everyone through this process together. We will create some accountability if you are interested in that too. There will be Q and A live too. There is no cost to you to participate, other than the 45 minutes on the call.
Here’s your Compass of Life™.

Do you know I’m interviewing stroke survivors, their spouse or partner as well?
The purpose is to compile these stories in order to share the information with others. The stories will inspire others, help them with tips for handling what they are going through now and what they may face in the future. It may even become a go to resource for stroke survivors and their families.
