It came up in a conversation with my team a few weeks ago.
“Mitch did you realize that every single week, week in and week out, since 2011 you have published your article – ezine – newsletter?”
“Really?”
“Yes, sure it was once published every Tuesday, then for awhile on Wednesday and then Thursday. Most recently early AM Friday (most of the time) and once in awhile later in the day on Friday.”
“Right. And I wrote each of the articles myself. Wow, and in the beginning some of them weren’t too good either.”
“We know.”
“Over time and by writing continually the articles have been better. If I recall correctly a few awards were collected along the way too.”

“It’s not what we do once in awhile that shapes our lives. It’s what we do Consistently.
~ Tony Robbins
One of the habits I formed is to have a small notepad or memo book nearby at night or wherever I am going. A small thought or idea about almost anything may become an article.
It brings me such pleasure when one person let’s me know how one of the articles had them change a behavior or results in a positive action and positive result.
“Trust is built with consistency.” ~ Lincoln Chafee
One of the keys to having people work with you and engage with you is KLT:
KNOW – LIKE – TRUST
One of the ways to build trust is through Consistency.
I’m okay with people passing on my ezine to other people such as their family, friends, co-workers, people they do business with and others. Sure it would be wonderful if they were all subscribers and obtained the ezine weekly by email along with other bonus items, but it’s okay with me if they read it passed on to them.
The reason I write is to have people read the articles. Then my hope is they will have had some value added to their lives. This is so much more important than how many subscribers there are to my newsletter.
“Consistent action creates Consistent results.” ~Christine Kane
There are some people I know who ‘farm out’ their writing to others.
What they tell me is they don’t have the time to write all of these articles. My view is, and it is not to judge what others do as it is my view for me, the articles have to have my voice – my spin – my view. Others have advised me to write out many weeks of articles in advance and ‘be done with it’. In other words they view writing articles as a chore. Again, not to judge others, this is not my view.
For me each article has to come to me – there may be five or six or a dozen thoughts for an article or just one. The number of thoughts doesn’t matter it is the one that speaks to me that makes a difference. Then the writing just flows.
Consistency always leads to Excellence. Whatever you do in life always be Consistent.
There are other times when it is a struggle. The words don’t come together. The thought behind the article doesn’t feel right to me.
It is why there is a delete key either on my iPad, laptop or iPhone.
Rather than save it for future use. Rather than save it to work on later. Rather than see if it speaks to me later. My finger just HITS DELETE! My path is to start fresh.
Hope you enjoy these articles and will continue to read them and pass them on to others. You never know someone may thank you for sending it over to them.
