Who is in charge of your direction?
Seriously are you going through life following along with directions being provided to you, given to you by others?
When something doesn’t work out, do you very easily and quickly fault the person who gave you the directions? Then pretty much as easily and quickly accept a new set of directions provided to you by someone. Maybe even the same person as the last time or someone else.
The key is the directions in your life are being provided to you. You are not following a course you are creating.
Instead you are following directions set by others for you.
Now look I’m not assigning blame to you, me or anyone.
There are different areas of our lives.
Our career, our family and personal relationships, our finances, our education, our community and where we volunteer, our faith, our growth and continued learning as examples.
Take a moment and consider – in each of these areas are you setting the course and direction or is someone else?
Are you participating if it’s someone else or just following along?
One Life – We each have One Life to Live.
Isn’t it up to each of us to define our own course for each area of our One Life?
